How does it all work?
CHOOSE your perfect creative class
PURCHASE your ticket HERE in advance of class (3-4 days advance for cake class and by noon the day of paint class)
Show up 10 minutes early! I will have everything ready for you.
Spend about 2-3 hours with me, and you will leave with a finished creation to show off!
Who are these classes for?
Blu Moon Art Studio classes are for EVERYONE, especially beginners!
Each class is formulated to go over every little detail, to support all levels of learners.
Painting Classes: Public and Private Options are available for all ages.
Ages 1-4 - Watercolor Classes, Private Parties and Public Classes through SKIES
Ages 5-18 - Acrylic Classes, Private Parties and Public Classes through SKIES
Ages 9+ - Acrylic Classes, Private Parties and Public Options through Blu Moon at various venues
Cake Decorating Classes: Public and Private Options, to include all ages.
Ages for Public and Private Classes - with the purchase of a full price ticket, you may have one person 12 or younger at your station for no extra fee. If you would like to have a person at your station who is 13 or older, they must purchase a Helper Ticket to be in class with you.
Cupcake Decorating Classes: Private Options are available for all ages.
Private Kid’s Classes and Adult Classes - with the purchase of a full price ticket, you may have one person 12 or younger at your station for no extra fee. If you would like to have a person at your station who is 13 or older, they must purchase a Helper Ticket to be in class with you.

What if I want to bring a child or adult friend with me to Cake decorating class, to be a “helper”?
You may bring up to one person with you to help you during class, at your station.
Please be aware that if you are bringing a child to an adult class, there may be adult language and drinking.
One child, 12 or younger, may attend with a person who has a full price ticket, for no additional fee.
If a person 13 years or older would like to attend as a “helper” for a person with a full price ticket, they must have a $20 “helper’s ticket”. This ticket does not include any extra materials.
If the “helper” is 13 or older, and would like their own materials to decorate a cake, they must purchase a full price ticket.
where are public classes held?
SKIES kid’s classes are held in Building 1300 on Muese Argonne St (across from the Teen Center)
Public classes are held at two different venues, depending on the class date:
1. Sam Adam's Leaders Bar (straight back when you come through the front doors of Sam Adam’s Brewhouse)
2. the PX Novelty Gift Shop (in the Post Exchange building, right next to the front doors)
what else do I need to know?
Please wear appropriate clothes for painting or crafting, and bring an apron for cake class if you have one!
AT SAM ADAM’S - Please arrive 15-20 minutes before class starts to put in your food or drink orders - no outside food or drink.
AT THE PX, bring food and drink to enjoy. (No alcohol). Arrive 15-20 minutes early to order food and drink from the food court.
Seating arrangements can be accommodated, so please mark who you want to sit with on your ticket form when you purchase your seat
All canvases will be sketched (if applicable) unless otherwise instructed
As I am providing the cake and icing for decorating purposes, please inform me if you have allergies.
